The area is an artist's paradise with stunning views across the property's olive trees and vineyard, of nearby Monte Molino and the spectacular hill-town of Todi with the ski fields of Terminilo in the distance. Recently completed on the property is a three-hole practice golf course for golf novice or fanatic to have fun and hone their short game! For the non-golfers, the split level green can be fun for bunker-bound croquet! Perugia Golf Club, within easy distance by car, has an excellent 18-hole golf course. There is also a nice 9-hole course near Lake Trasimeno, and a championship course is now open near Umbertide. We have golf clubs freely available for adults, children and left handers.

The cooking facilities at the villa also include a barbeque and separate covered sitting-out area. We make superb olive oil, the best of Umbria's best, which you can try, and if you become hooked as most are, take home with you!! Broadband internet access (computer also on request) is available in the villa. For rainy days and evenings, table tennis can be played on the patio.

We have an elegant curved new pool set well away from the main house, with 14 metre swimming lane, & solar heating to extend the swimming season from May to October.The pool is landscaped with two ponds (full of wild life and water lilies). We also enjoy wonderful bird life, with numerous hoopoes in summer.
Ryanair flies to Perugia 4 times per week.

Nearby Montecastello is a fascinating medieval walled town a short walk up the hill which has a gem of a living theatre, nearly 200 years old, supposedly the smallest in the world with only 99 seats. There is a summer festival of music and drama, and an art school; and the whole area is an artist’s and photographer's paradise. Towns close by and full of interest include Todi, Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Trevi, Spoleto, Foligno, Bevagna, Massa Martana, Orvieto and Montefalco (the latter with their famous vineyards.)
