Set in the 5 hectare grounds of the 15th century farmhouse with vines, olive trees, three practice golf holes for Dads, Mums and kids, a beautiful garden and an extensive patio for al fresco dining. You can lounge by the pool, barbecue enjoying homegrown produce, or dine in one of the many fine but inexpensive local restaurants. There is excellent rambling, cycling, tennis and golf nearby and canoeing and sailing an hour away by car. |

Nearby Montecastello is a fascinating medieval walled town a short walk up the hill which has a gem of a living theatre, nearly 200 years old, supposedly the smallest in the world with only 99 seats. There is a summer festival of music and drama, and an art school; and the whole area is an artist’s and photographer's paradise. Towns close by and full of interest include Todi, Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Trevi, Spoleto, Foligno, Bevagna, Massa Martana, Orvieto and Montefalco (the latter with their famous vineyards.)
